Last week Nexus Mods user makzimus launched Skyheim, a mod that introduces Skyrim-styled magic into the world of Valheim. Before then, another fan-made mod made the rounds due to its recreation of World of Warcraft's Northrend continent. An ambitious modder recently built a mod that enables virtual reality support, for example. Mods have become all the rage amongst the massive community of players, as well. In-game constructs serve as but a single piece of the equation when it comes to Valheim's growing popularity.
Plus, Valheim players continue to incorporate their favorite aspects of Skyrim into the survival title - one such example includes a user's recreation of the nearly ten-year-old RPG's High Hrothgar Castle. The Elder Scrolls V and Valheim aren't exactly strangers to one another, especially when considering how the former influenced the development of the latter. As a magic mod fixed with balanced progression systems, Skyheim added Skyrim-inspired magic to Valheim.
